A trip to Toronto

On Saturday, on the way to Medieval Times in Toronto, I visited China Town. The shops were really different from Spanish shops. These have amazing dragons opposite the shops,  they have some strange characters in the entrance of those shops as well. So you didn't know where you were going into!
When we arrived to Medieval times, I saw some weird people wearing strange, but cool costumes. After that, when the show started, the knights were riding their horses and they started fighting each other. It was really cool! And they gave us dinner as well...!
On Tuesday, I went to the CN Tower in Toronto. This tower was very tall and you could see the whole city of Toronto. Also, you could do the "edge walk", go walking through the edge of the top of the CN Tower.
After that I went to the Eaton Centre, a huge mall (I don't think there are such huge malls in Spain...). Unfortunately it started raining, so I went with the group through the PATH. This is an underground walkway with a lot of shops which are under the streets and connect to some buildings. -Iker A.
Last Saturday we went to Toronto and we visited Chinatown. It was really impressive because it was like being in China. The streets were full of Chinese people and all the advertisements were written in Chinese. After that, we went to Medieval Times and we all had a great time. On Tuesday, we went to Toronto again and we visited the CN Tower. It was nice and amazing because at the top of the tower you can see Toronto, although we couldn't see so much because of the rain. In the evening we went shopping to a big mall and then we had dinner there. It was a really great day! -Iratxe M
This weekend I couldn't go to the excursion with the group to Medieval Times and China Town in Toronto because I went camping with my host family. It was a new experience for me and although I'm not very keen on the country side I really enjoyed it. We canoed, slept in a tent and cooked on a campfire! On Tuesday we went to Toronto and visited the CN Tower, a huge building with amazing views. Unfortunately it was really cloudy and we couldn't see very clear the landscape, however, the city overall is amazing with all the skyscrapers! In the afternoon we went shopping to a huge mall called Eaton Centre where we went shopping and had dinner. I truly recommend going to Toronto as it's such a beautiful city where you will find people from all cultures! -Llanos B.
Last Saturday we went to Toronto and we walked around China Town. It seems like a little China in another city, Toronto. We saw a lot of Chinese characters, like letters, words, drawings, photos. Everybody there is Chinese and work in different stores that sell mainly fruits and veggies, but we could buy souvenirs for our family and friends cheaper than in the city centre or in a shopping centre too.
Another day which we went to Toronto in the morning we went up the CN Tower but we didn't see much because there was fog and it was raining. Later, in the afternoon, we went shopping to Eaton Centre, a big shopping centre which has a lot of stores with sales. We bought a lot of things like trainers, t-shirts, sweatshirts. When the time to meet with the other students arrived, me and two other students  couldn't find the meeting point because it is huge. Finally, we caught the bus to Hamilton and the day ended well. -Claudia C.
This week we have been in Toronto, a very big city, with  lot of different cultures and shops.
Shops mainly are in shopping malls but in the city centre there are the shops of the most expensive brands.
Toronto has underground streets to connect  buildings, the underground is call "PATH" and there you can find lot of types of restaurants and shops.
We also saw the CN tower that was built for trans-communication and now is the national tower of Canada, from there it is possible to see the Niagara falls, and Rochester New York, but if the weather is foggy or rainy it is impossible to see something. -Arrate K.
The first day we went to Toronto we visited China Town,  Kensington Market and Medieval Times. China Town is like another world because when you are there all the things are very different and in the restaurants and buildings there are chinese symbols. In that part of the city you can  buy souvenirs and eat fruits and veggies. And Medieval Times, it was an amazing show where you eat with your hands and you see a medieval show with horses.
The second day that we went to Toronto we spent all the morning visiting the CN Tower, that is one of the tallest structures of the world and you can see all of Toronto . Then it started raining so we went to Eaton Center to buy some clothes, shoes and souvenirs and then we ate in the lowest floor.  I had a fantastic day in Toronto. -Maria A.
Last Saturday we went to Toronto and we visited China Town. China Town is like a small town inside Toronto! Then, we went to the Medieval Show and we had fantastic time because while we were having dinner, we were watching the show. Our team won! We ate a lot of food like the people in medieval times, without cutlery. Yesterday, we went to Toronto another time! We went to visit the CN Tower but we couldn't see all of Toronto because it was foggy but we took lots of beautiful photos. Then, we went to Toronto Eaton Centre for shopping. It was very big and there were lots of shops inside! Definitely, if you come to Toronto, you will have a good time. -Laura R.
This weekend was very good.
I went camping with my family for three days, we went to a very big house with my host dad's family
and we had a lot of fun.  We went camping near a lake, so we could do water sports like canoeing, swimming and other sports. We arrived Friday at 11 pm and we returned home on Monday at 1 pm.
When I arrived to Hamilton on Monday, my group and I went shopping to Limeridge mall.
And finally on Tuesday we went to Toronto, we saw the CN tower and we tried to see the whole city but we couldn't because it was raining. Then we went to the glass floor that we could stand on and could see part of Toronto.
In the afternoon we went shopping to Eaton's Centre where we could buy a lot of clothes. -Sergi A.
This week we visited Toronto two times. On Saturday we went to China Town, it's a whole new world, you think you are in China and not in Toronto. We visited a lot of different shops to buy souvenirs, we took a lot of photos of the different signs (because they have Chinese characters) and we went to a very strange mall. Then we visited Kensington Market, it's a street near China Town where you can buy vintage clothes, it was strange but it was nice too. The houses were shops, tattoo centers, fast food restaurants or a place to do pilates. In the afternoon we went to Medieval Times, it was amazing. We had a great time with the show while we were eating. On Tuesday we visited the CN Tower, I wanted to see "Torontontero" but it was impossible because there were a lot of clouds. Suddenly it started to rain, so we walked around the PATH, it's an underground street that connects different buildings in the centre of Toronto and it's like a big mall with fast food restaurants, clothes shops... Later we shopped at the mall and we ate a lot of chicken on KFC, I think I'm not going to eat chicken for a few months. -Maria P.
On Saturday we went to Toronto, we took a Bus from Hamilton.
First of all we went to China Town, it is like another town in the middle of Toronto, everywhere you can see Chinese characters instead of English characters. It is a place where you can buy very cheap souvenirs. After that we went to Kensington Market, there are a lot of shops with vintage clothes and some food. To end the day we went to Medieval Times, it was so nice.  On Tuesday we went to Toronto too, we went to the CN tower that is 553m tall and you can see all of Toronto from there, we ate there and after that we crossed the "PATH".  It is like an underground city with some streets and restaurants and shops in it, and we went to Eaton center to go shopping, it is so big! We had dinner there. -Nerea D.
Our visits to Toronto were incredible!!
On Saturday we went to China Town, it is like a little Chinese village inside Toronto, it was crowded and there were a lot of fruit and vegetables markets and lots of little Chinese shops where you can buy typical Canadian products or souvenirs. The strange thing about China Town was that the names of the shops and streets were in Chinese characters.
On Tuesday we visited the CN Tower, it is the highest building I've ever seen! At the top the views are fantastic, you can see all the city and people seem like ants. We also went to a huge shopping center called Eaton's Centre, it has like 5 levels and there are lots of Canadian and American shops and restaurants, it is the perfect place to spend our money. -Isabel P.
Last Saturday we went to Toronto. It was fantastic. Toronto is huge and has very high buildings. We went to Chinatown, it is like another city. Everything is different. There are signs with Chinese letters. There you can buy a lot of things, there are a lot of markets in the streets. Then we went to see a Medieval show and dinner. It was amazing. We were shouting and laughing all the time and our team won, so perfect. Yesterday we returned to Toronto. We went to the CN Tower. It was a pity that it was raining so we couldn't see almost anything, but it was so nice. I loved it. We couldn't see the city because of the rain, but we crossed the city through the PATH, it is like an underground city, with shops and restaurants. Then we went to the Eaton Center (a huge mall) we went shopping, there are lot of shops there. Finally we had dinner in the "food court". It was Tania's birthday and we had a surprise. The day before Isabel had made a "tortilla de patata" for her and we sang "Happy Birthday to you" all together. -Pilar R.
We went to Toronto two times, on Saturday and Tuesday
It's a beautiful city. We visited the most important parts of Toronto. On Saturday we arrived to the city at eleven a.m. so we had all the day to visit different places. First of all, we went to visit China Town. It is not really exciting but there are lots of things to buy there and things are not too expensive. China Town is like another world. It is completely different than the rest of the city of Toronto. There, we could buy some souvenirs, food, etc, and we also walked around the neighbourhood. China Town is like the realistic China because there you can find some Chinese characters like the food, the stores, etc.
When we finished the tour around China Town we went to watch a show called medieval times. It was really nice. We could watch a fight between the different knights on a horse. It was a really nice experience. It was at five o'clock so at the show we had the dinner that medieval people served us, so we ate like as the medieval people.
It was a really good day.
But the experience doesn't finish here, because on Tuesday we went to Toronto again. There, we visited one of the most important sites that a tourist has to visit, the CN Tower. It was incredible. We went up more than three hundred meters in one minute. On one of the highest towers around the world we could see the Toronto Island and some parts of Toronto. The day wasn't the best, so we couldn't see some sites. After that, we went to the shopping center because it was raining. Eaton Centre was so good and after an hour we watched the semifinal of the FIFA World cup. -Sergi M.
Last Saturday we went to Torono to see Medieval Times. First we went to China Town. It looks like another country where you are able to buy souvenirs, eat typical Chinese food and vegetables. In addition, you can see Chinese characters or symbols.  After that, we went to Kensington Market. It's strange but funny and cool too. You can see people selling their old things like clothes, movies, jewellery...
At 4:00pm we went to Medieval Times. It was amazing, incredible, fantastic. It was like you were, as its name said, in the medieval times. We were part of the red group and it won. All I can say is, it was awesome.
On 08 Tuesday, we went to CANADA NATIONAL TOWER. Toronto has impressive views. At the CN tower, you have all you need such as souvenirs, meals, a playground for children...
After this amazing experience we walked in PATH underground to get to the shopping center. I have never seen a big shopping center like that one. It has more or less 150 shops. I only bought a Hollister jacket.
To sum up, I would like to say, I love this trip, and also I like Toronto. -Manuel P.
