Tourists in Toronto

These three weeks here have been fantastic. There are a lot of things that I won't forget: the Nightmares House with Maria P., Nerea, Iratxe and Maria A., singing silly songs in the streets, our breaks at Timmies, eating a lot at Wendy's, our sentences like "How Strong" or "Pero que borde eh", our moments together, our classes and excursions with Tania, Monica and Isabel... These are some of the things that I will never forget and, in the future, when I think about them, I will laugh a lot. But there is something I will remember more than anything: my friends. We have made a lot of new friends here and I will never forget them. Saying goodbye was so hard because maybe I won't see some of them again. It is incredible how you can make good friends in just two weeks. This summer has been unforgettable. Thank you guys! I will never forget you! #HowStrongIsCanada -Sofia S.

These weeks in Canada have been awesome. The best moments were when we went to Canada's Wonderland and the Baseball Game, these were amazing! Then we went on another excursion, Niagara Falls and the Nightmares House. We had a really good time here. And obviously when we went shopping at the Mall or Eaton Center I enjoyed buying things with my mate Isabel, she is the best person to go shopping with. But I think the best memories were each day in class or in the school, when we played Baseball or when we went to do the activities which the best teachers, Tania and Monica, prepared for us. Or when Salva and Manuel made jokes and silly things for all the people to be happy. When we met everyday at the huge circle next to Tim Hortons the adventure of the day started. This was the best, day after day, when we were together and small funny things always happened. Those are the best memories that I can have. -Andrea G.

I have only two days left in Canada, the days passed quickly. We did a lot of things together. Here we made friends, did extra activities, learned about Canada and the typical things, we visited the monuments in Toronto, we went shopping, we had a good time here. We sent postcards too. We love Canada because we enjoyed our stay here. The place I liked most was Niagara Falls. We went into the Falls and we got wet. It vas amazing. I like Toronto too because is a very beautiful city and we saw all of Toronto in the CN Tower when we went up it. It was a very beautiful view. -Loles L.

As this trip comes to an end, I remember lots of things we've done here. Obviously the people I've met here are awesome and I have lots of good memories of them. I'm sure I will miss them because we have had a great time together. Apart from this, I'll remember all the trips we've done, which have been amazing and where we have had great fun, such as the day we went to Niagara Falls or when we went to Toronto. I will also have great memories from my family here and the things we've done together. Everything during this trip has been amazing and I will remember it. -Fran S.

mmmm....Poutine

Poutine is a common Canadian dish, originating in Quebec, made with french fries, topped with a light brown gravy-like sauce and cheese curds.  This fast food dish can now be found across Canada, and is also found in some places in the United States and even the United Kingdom. It is sold in small "greasy spoon" type diners (commonly known as cantines or casse-croĆ»tes in Quebec) and pubs National and international chains like New York Fries,  McDonald's, A&W,  KFC,  Burger King,  and Harvey's also sell poutine in Canada.
