Discovering Hamilton I

Taking the city bus to downtown Hamilton.
Visiting the tourism office to discover the best Hamilton has to offer.
"Conveniently located at 77 James Street North, formerly the Eaton Centre, the Hamilton City Centre is centrally located in the heart of Hamilton's Downtown Core."
A place to shop, eat and work!
"One of Hamilton's most-recognized landmarks, Dundurn Castle is a National Historic Site that illustrates life and times of Sir Allan Napier MacNab (one of Canada's first premiers)."
The Kitchen Garden
"The formal walled garden in Scottish fashion, referred to as a pleasaunce, had a series of garden beds and walkways bordered with flowers and herbs, a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll. Today the public can stroll on the same pathways and imagine what it might have been like to be a guest at Dundurn." (www.hamilton.ca)
Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King
"Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King is a Roman Catholic church in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. The Cathedral was consecrated on December 19, 1933.   It is the seat of the Bishop of the Diocese of Hamilton, and the cathedral of the Diocese of Hamilton." (http://christthekingcathedral.org)
