Our Most Memorable Moments

If somebody asks me which was my memorable moment I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say because I have had a great month here in Canada. But if I had to decide my most memorable moment it would be the baseball game that I went to see. The baseball game that we went to see was in Toronto and it was Tampa Bay Rays (from the U.S.A) vs Toronto Blue Jays (from Canada). I think that the game was awesome because I had a lot of fun with my friends and I enjoyed the game but unfortunately the Blue Jays lost 4-3.  Piero P.
My most memorable moment has been when I was a few meters from Niagara Falls, something amazing. The feeling that you felt when you were near these huge falls hasn't got adjectives to describe. At the top of the boat and with all the wind touching your face you look up and (if the water lets you see something) you see how impressive it is. It is a fantastic experience that everybody has to live at least once in their life. Marta I.
My most memorable moments have been two: the first was when we were in Toronto Island looking at the landscape of Toronto. It was fantastic! The second moment was when we went on the boat in Niagara Falls. We started to shout because it was unbelievable! We had the water falls in front of us and they were very big. It was the first time that I was next to America. I loved the experience!  Laura L.

My most memorable moment has been when we came back from Niagara Falls because in the moment when we got off the bus, it was raining and flashing lightning. All the students and Monica and Tania were inside the bus station although we still got wet. That night we had a storm and many houses were without light. Cristina C.

My most memorable moment has been when Nando and me got lost in the middle of Hamilton because the 41A bus stopped at a very far stop from our home. We had to walk during 45 minutes alone and without light. To pass the time we made two videos about our survival. When we separated I had a scare because me and Nando saw a very strange light which scared us because we thought it was an alien and in the moment I was walking alone I heard a strange noise, I turned back and when I saw a little dog I got a big scare. Finally I arrived safe to my house. Jose Luis P.

My most memorable moment has been when we went to Canada's Wonderland and we saw that there where just a few people at the amusement park, so we could go on all the rides many times. It was a fantastic and really fun day. Rafael T.

My most memorable moment has been under Niagara falls trying to take photos, getting wet and singing the Spanish Anthem. Another moment was at the beginning of the baseball match when a girl started to sing the American and Canadian anthem, I got goose bumps. Isabel P.

My most memorable moment has been when we went to the Niagara Falls. Because they are awesome and huge. We were in the front part of the boat and it was cool. I would like to return there another time in my life. Once you are in the middle of the horseshoe looking at the falls and getting really wet. Inaki D.
My most memorable moment has been when I met my host mum. I stayed at school waiting for her and when I saw her I was happy. She was very pleasant and excited, because I like dancing as she does. We spoke a lot time about our hobbies and pleasures. Since then, I have been more quiet and we spent a good evening together. Another memorable moment was when my cousin and I went on a ride at Canada's Wonderland. It was scary but at the same time fun. When we finished we started to laugh. Francisca C.

I have a lot of memorable moments, one of the best was when we went to Wonderland , because I  never go on too many attractions or roller coasters but that day I went on ALL of the attractions and roller coasters at Wonderland. I had a fun day and the other day that I wont forget is when we went to Niagara Falls, that was amazing ,incredible...I cant believe it.
When you are down at the falls, you are saying "OMG I cant believe it this is...OMG" I wont forget those views and what I was experiencing.  Isabel O.

My most memorable moment has been when I was with my friends at Jackson Square and we went to the food court to have dinner. I went with Virginia to KFC and ordered a type of hamburger which was really spicy so I wasn't able to eat it and I had to leave it. After it I went to Burger King with Maria and "tried" to order a hamburger. In Spain we can have a hamburger for a euro so I asked the shop assistant if they had some cheap hamburgers and she told me that it was cheap fish hamburgers day and that I could go to another shop if I wanted a cheap one, but I decided to stay there. My friend Maria told me to buy only the hamburger and that's what I did but when the girl asked me if I wanted the hamburger with everything, I didn't understand her so I said: no, only the hamburger. Then my friend started to laugh and the girl asked me if I wanted the burger with lettuce, tomato...  Itziar U.

It's really difficult to decide which moment would be the most memorable, but I've come up with the three that I was the most excited and motivated. Maybe one of them would be when we were on the Maid of the Mist boat tour in Niagara Falls, and we were only a few meters from them, and we were so excited, singing and shouting. Another moment when I had so much adrenaline was when we were on the Wonderland's roller-coaster all together and it was so scary but incredible. And finally, I really enjoyed the moment when the Blue Jays game was about to start and the Canada anthem was sounding all around the Rogers Center, and we were all singing and some people from the crowd even cried because of the thrill. It was so emotional. Isabel L.

My most memorable moment has been when Jolu and me caught the bus 41A because Guillermo told us that it is the same as the 33 and we went to an abandoned hospital and we wanted to return home we had to walk and we walked 45 minutes and fortunately we arrived home at 11:00pm
Fernando M.

My most memorable moment has been when we went to Niagara Falls because they are incredible! We went on the Maid of the Mist and we saw the falls very close up.  It is incredible how nature can make something so beautiful. I enjoyed it a lot and also there are different shops where we could buy souvenirs. Lucia B.

My most memorable moment has been...
... when we went to the water park, Isabel L., Laura, Virginia and I were bored, so we decided to go outside. We were at the beach of Lake Ontario and it was fantastic. There was the lake, a wood, the city, Toronto... a beautiful view, I loved that moment. Maria P.

My most memorable moment has been when we went to Toronto to watch the Blue Jays against Tampa Bay Rays, it was my first baseball match and I loved it! The match was very exciting although we lost, but we could win so it was very interesting. This is one of the main sports in Canada, so the stadium was crowded and everybody was supporting the Blue Jays despite the fact that they were losing.  I had a great time and I hope to watch another match. I  (love)  (baseball). Juan F.

My most memorable moment this month in Canada has been going to Wendy's restaurant and eating a baconator. It is a double hamburger with a lot of bacon and cheese between both hamburgers and bread. While I was eating it I was feeling guilty!! Pablo O.

My most memorable moment has been on the 21st of July at the swimming pool "party" when Piero was arguing with Elaine after she threw him into the swimming pool and she told me to throw him again and I did it. I won't forget that and the trip under Niagara Falls with the Spanish flag at the front of the ship. Guillermo L.

My most memorable moment has been when I saw Niagara Falls because it was incredible. I have never seen a thing like this. It's fantastic when you see the water fall into the lake, but it was more fantastic when we went on the boat under the falls. It was a wonderful experience!! Lourdes A.
My most memorable moment has been when we went to Canada's Wonderland.  It is a huge roller coaster park where we had a lot of fun. There weren't any queues.  We spent all  day on the most scary attractions. Jorge V.

My most memorable moment has been... when I was in the Niagara Falls' Tim Hortons and I ordered an Ice Capp. I paid for it and I immediately turned around and went out of Tim Hortons forgetting my Ice Capp. The man who served me started to shout trying to get my attention but everybody heard him before me so when I came back to pick up my Ice Capp everybody was laughing. After I laughed too. Virginia P.
